Re-creation

The water above the earth continues to flow on the earth in the ever-present cycle of life. The light of God is the ‘SON’ of righteousness that bursts forth from the center of the throne,
the cross, a mystery to man’s ways. Life is evident of this mystery as the children of the light reflect the light of the world in the moon and stars (as the seed of Abraham).
By the continued renewal of His presence, the people of God draw nearer to Him in this life’s journey. Seeking and yearning for His love, God’s people are replenished with light that rekindles and the waters that refresh by the fountain of His life.
The artist was Nicholas Parrendo (1928 – 2016)
Mr. Parrendo enjoyed a 66-year passionate career as an artist/designer; owner of Hunt Stained Glass Studios, Inc. since 1987.

Nicholas Parrendo designed the faceted/resin cast window (proper terminology is dalle de verre). This is 3/4 inch thick glass surrounded by a resin cast grit finish matrix.
The Stained-glass Window in our church was the donated in memory of Ralph and Ada Tissue and Homer and Hazel Fullem by Bob and Maree Fullem. It was presented on October 7, 1979.

The stained glass window was commissioned by James Gayton of Gayton & Associates Architectural firm, Uniontown, PA.
